Studio Manager, Music Instructor
Kimberly Deverell
-- A graduate of San Diego State University, Kimberly received a Magna Cum Laude with Distinction in her major of Music Education. She has been an instructor at San Diego Music Studio since 1997 and serves as our Studio Manager. She supervises all of the educational programs here at the studio and oversees all aspects of teaching and class structure. Kimberly is a member of the Music Teacher's Association of California and actively participates in helping to prepare qualified students for MTAC competitions. She co-teaches piano classes and also assists in many other classes throughout the studio.

Music Instructor - Band, Violin, and Piano
Jill Masimore Gillis
-- Jill is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she received both a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and a Master of Music Degree in flute performance. Jill has taught band and orchestra in middle school and has served as an adjunct faculty member at James Madison University. She has performed around the United States, England and Greece and is a member of the Music Teacher's Association of California and the National Flute Association. Jill has also been teaching privately for over 10 years and enjoys working with all ages and levels of students. She has been a member of the SDMS faculty since 2007 and currently teaches band, violin and piano classes here at the studio. Jill also assists all qualified wind and piano students through competition preparation and performance.

Music Instructor
Anthony Cutietta
-- Anthony has been a member of the San Diego Music Studio faculty since 2004. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from San Diego State University School of Music and Dance. In addition to teaching guitar, Anthony performs throughout southern California in settings varying from weddings to recitals. In June of 2008 Anthony performed in a Memorial Concert for the victims of the fire bombs dropped in Japan during WWII. The concert, held in Okayama Japan, was well received with over 300 concert goers having attended. Anthony has also received awards for his performance of D. Scarlatti and A. Barrios for The American String Teachers Association.
In 2004, Anthony was awarded Teacher of the Year from “The Music School” El Cajon. Anthony is also a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and the Guitar Foundation of America.

Music Instructor
Kathryn Cheng
-- Kathryn is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, with a Master of Music in piano performance. She received her Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of California, Berkeley. She’s received many awards, including the Hertz Traveling Scholarship in Music which allowed her to study in St. Petersburg, Russia, and she has studied in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Italy as well. She has been teaching privately for over 5 years and enjoys working with all levels and ages of students. Kathryn is a member of the Music Teacher’s National Association and the Music Teacher’s Association of California and assists all qualified students through competition preparation and performance. She currently teaches many of the piano classes here at the studio.

Drew Burges
-- Drew Burges grew up in Northern Arizona studying cello, string bass, and guitar. He attended Longwood University in Virginia where he completed a music degree with an emphasis on piano. While in college he also studied guitar in several jazz ensembles, cello in string ensembles, string bass in symphonic band, and vocal performance in several choral ensembles. He was a member of the band LeGrande Jazz, which toured extensively around southern Virginia. He has taught both guitar and piano for the past six years.

Bliss Edwards
-- Bliss is currently attending Palomar College studying to attain degrees in Music Education and Criminology. She also competes on the College’s swim team. Bliss will be transferring to CSU Stanislaus to earn dual Bachelor Degrees in Music and in Criminology, specializing in Forensic Science. Bliss has been teaching privately for over 7 years and enjoys working with all ages and levels of students. She has been a member of the SDMS faculty since 2008 and currently teaches piano and voice classes. Bliss also serves as our head day camp counselor and specializes in teaching drawing, painting, crafts, sports, cooking and drama classes.

San Diego Music Studio takes great pride in maintaining an excellent staff. Employees go through a rigorous screening process to select the absolute best teachers and staff in the San Diego area. For the safety of your children, all employees are screened and fingerprinted through the Department of Justice's LiveScan Service.

Class Schedule
Please call us for a copy of of our most current class schedule. While classes generally remain on the same schedule, class availability varies due to the number of students enrolled.

Make-Ups
Please call before you do a make-up! Our make-up policy is designed for those of you with the busiest of schedules. Please note that full tuition must be paid for any month in which a make-up is taken. Due to class size limitations, make-ups are at the discretion of the teacher and may not be scheduled more than 2 weeks in advance.

Tuition Rates
2008 Group Class Tuition Rates are as follows:
One class per week - $85.00/month
Two classes per week - $160.00/month
Three classes per week - $240.00/month
Four classes per week - $320.00/month
**siblings take $5.00 off when paid together**
Pee Wee Piano classes for 4-5 year olds:
One 1/2hr class each week - $45.00/month
All one hour classes are limited to no more than 6 students per class. Pee wee piano classes are limited to 4 students per class and are 1/2 hr long. Please call for class availability!

Rentals
We have a wide variety of musical instruments available for rent. We offer rentals on all band instruments, electric, acoustic and bass guitars, violins, violas, and cellos. Please call for more information on prices, rental packages and availability.

Returns/Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns and exchanges will be accepted with a receipt within 15 days of the date of purchase. After 15 days, refunds will be issued as a STORE CREDIT only. CD/DVD/Tapes must be UNOPENED to return. Merchandise must be undamaged, clean and in brand new condition. Refund checks will be mailed within 15 days of return.

AutoPay
All lessons and rentals can be set up with our Automatic Payment system! Have your tuition or rental automatically deducted from your credit card account once a month to save you the trouble of mailing in a payment. Please call the studio to set up your auto-pay account.

Repair Contract
For those of you with active children, we offer an optional repair contract on all of our rental instruments. For $3.00 a month, you can have the piece of mind that any damage or repairs will be covered for free by our in-house repair technician. The repair contract can be added at any time and is highly recommended as a great value. Repair contracts also cover routine cleanings and maintenance. String changes are not covered by the repair contract.

Delivery Time and Shipping Method
Delivery Time for online products is 4-7 days although local deliveries will take less time. Unless otherwise instructed, all products are delivered via USPS with delivery confirmation. You will receive a delivery confirmation number as soon as your product is shipped.
