Student of the Month! September 2010 - Anahi Gallardo

San Diego Music Studio is proud to present group violin student Anahi Gallardo as our September Student of the Month! She is 13 years old and is in the 9th grade at Orange Glen High School this fall, where her favorite subject is Math. She has been playing the violin for about 1 year and is currently working on "Minuet III" by J.S. Bach, and her favorite song to play is "Minuet II" by J.S. Bach. Besides the music she plays, Anahi likes to listen to slow and/or Christian music. When she's not involved in playing an instrument, she enjoys singing. When Anahi grows up she wants to be a Pediatrician! Her advice to other students is "Your dreams can get you anywhere, and organization is also very important in any career." Anahi is a student of Mr. Drew, and he says of her, "Anahi has shown herself to be a very dedicated student of music. She always comes to violin class ready to play and works very hard to make significant progress each day. She is always a joy to have in class, and I believe her to be an ideal candidate for student of the month." CONGRATULATIONS Anahi, and keep up the great work!
