Guitar Ensemble Concert

The San Diego Music Studio Guitar Ensemble had their first concert on Sunday, June 13th at 3pm and it was a huge success! The students played a varied program of classical, pop and folk music ranging from Mozart to the Rolling Stones. This was an opportunity for the ensemble members to show all their friends and family that they can play guitar not just solo but in a group setting too! The concert was held at the Old California Coffee House in Restaurant Row as part of the San Marcos Arts Council concert program and was attended by friends, family and patrons.

Eldon Eller, member of the San Marcos Arts Council had this to say of Director Anthony Cutietta and Ensemble members, "Anthony put together a program that gave every student an opportunity to perform and show their musical skills."

With the concert behind them, SDMS Guitar Ensemble is already hard at work on their next program that will include more classics and more edgy music...possibly Radiohead or Queen.

ENSEMBLE ELIGIBILITY
There are only three requirements for being in the San Diego Music Studio Guitar Ensemble:
1. Must be an enrolled student at the studio
2. Must have some music reading ability (be half-way through Hal Leonard book 1)
3. Must want to have fun playing music!

Just contact guitar teacher and ensemble director Anthony if you would like to attend Friday 6pm rehearsals.
